Power forward Jordon Granger from McCluer North High School has pledged to the Auburn Tigers of the SEC after attending there midnight madness event this weekend. Granger is a class of 2012 prospect who at 6'8 and 210 lbs helped lead the Stars to a Class 5 State title and a 29-4 record last season by averaging 15ppg and 9rpg and also made a solid impression with the St. Louis Eagles this summer.
He also had offers from Detroit, Illinois State, Missouri State, Ohio, and others.
Granger is a skilled face up four man that has good length and a great mid range jump shot, Granger also has very good athleticism. Granger ranks as the #2 prospect in the class of 2012 for the area. Fans can get a peek at Granger along with a host of other top local and national ranked players/teams that will be participating in the 2011 Midwest Showdown Shootout on December 9th & 10th @ Lindendwood University 10/16/11

6'9 Desmet High School Class of 2013 power forward Nolan Berry decided to end his recruitement Sunday evening and committed to Coach Brad Stevens & the Butler Bulldogs. Berry is a very versatile forward that had a breakout summer with the St. Louis Eagles and is currently ranked top 100 nationally. Berry also had a stellar sophomor campaign averaging 18ppg & 7 rpg while leading Desmet to a 23-6 record. Berry & Desmet are primed as a heavy favorite in Class 5A this upcoming season Berry chose the Bulldogs over offers from Purdue, Missouri and St. Louis. 9/26/11

6'5 Belleville East High School Class of 2013 star Malcolm Hill took
a visit to the University of Illinois over the weekend and came back
home and felt comfortable enough to say yes to Illinois as he
committed Monday evening. Hill is ranked as not only one of the top
players in the areas class of 2013 but considered a top 100 nationally
ranked player in the class of 2013. Hill is coming off a stellar summer
competeing with the SW Illinois Jets. Hill is also currently torching the
nets in the Rameybasketball.com fall league in leading the league in scoring with over 32 pointes per game. Hill will also be participating in this Saturdays Rameybasketball.com Battle 4 the Rankings showcase.
2011 Midwest Showdown Shootout Schedule Announced
The 5th Annual Midwest Showdown Shootout presented by Rameybasketball.com will be held on two days this year on Friday, December 9th & Saturday, December 10th at Lindenwood University and will feature top ranked teams from: MO, IL, TN, AL, GA, & MS including several national top 100 ranked players and top local & national players.

6’9 Marquette High School senior Ryan Rosburg ended all speculations today by verbally committing to Head Coach Frank Haith and the Missouri Tigers of the Big Twelve Conference. Rosburg who is ranked as one of the top seniors in Missouri is coming off a solid junior season that saw him average 16ppg & 9rpg for a Marquette team that went 18-11. Rosburg is a big and strong post player that has very good post moves and shooting range out to 15-18 feet. Rosburg had a very successful summer with the Gateway Basketball Club. 10/19/11
