5’11 rising Brentwood High School junior to be Andrew Erby is making a name for himself on the AAU circuit while competing with St. Louis Primetime. Erby is a strong framed combo guard that plays alongside junior to be Brandan Hannah of Chaminade on the Primetime AAU team. Primetime is slowly making a name for itself as one of the areas elite AAU programs as they put up good efforts in the past couple of weekends in two of the areas top locally ran tournaments. (Rameybasketball.com Midwest Showdown & St. Louis Eagles Invitational) saw Erby put up big numbers and show that he can compete with the household local names and in doing so really caught our eye as a sleeper to keep a look out for.
Erby excels with strength and a good shooting stroke with range out to three. He has good speed and athletic ability that allows him to get by defenders and utilize a good mid range jumper. He is able to take contact and finish with ease and is a lock down defender that gives opposing guards fits. Erby was named to the all tournament team at the Rameybasketball.com Midwest Showdown Tournament and the St. Louis Eagles Invitational and is set to hopefully continue his strong play during the vital important college evaluation period this July.
Erby who averaged 10 points per game this past season for Brentwood who finished 18-8 on the season and is primed to be one of the key players this upcoming season for Head Coach Brad Kern. Stay tuned to rameybasketball.com as we bring you all the latest on Andrew Erby.
